Victoria Adotey

Victoria Adotey is a seasoned lawyer and cybersecurity legislation expert with a distinguished career in law and public service. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Law Degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), an LL.B from the Ghana School of Law, and an LL.M in International Arbitration from the University of Law, UK.

Currently serving as a prosecutor at the Office of the Attorney General in Ghana, Victoria has a decade of experience and a strong track record of winning high-profile cases for the government. She has also worked on complex international arbitration cases.

Victoria also founded an NGO to advocate for stronger laws against cybercrime,

especially Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), in addition to her work in criminal prosecution.

Victoria played a key role in developing the Legislative Instrument for the Cybersecurity Act of Ghana 2020 (Act 1038) while on secondment at the Cybersecurity Authority of Ghana. She has been instrumental in shaping Ghana’s cybersecurity landscape and has represented Ghana at various international cybersecurity conferences.

With her extensive academic credentials, professional experience, and commitment to public service, Victoria Adotey is a respected figure in Ghana’s legal and cybersecurity communities.
